ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Emma Woods is a born and bred Gold Coast local and is the principal solicitor of Woods Law Group.
Growing up with the law, Emma Woods’ late father, Darryll Woods, worked as a Gold Coast lawyer and established a successful northern Gold Coast law firm some 35 years ago.
Emma has a passion for property law and the Gold Coast. When you are represented by Woods Law Group, you know you are receiving exceptional legal advice that provides excellent value for money.
With over 10 years post-qualification experience across commercial, corporate, finance and regulatory sectors Emma prides herself on providing clients with exceptional legal services.
With experience holding positions with listed, privately owned and government organisations both in London and Australia. She has a strong understanding of good corporate governance having a professional background investigating financial regulatory misconduct.
In addition to her technical legal skills, Emma is an experienced business owner, CEO and company director.
Beyond her legal work, Emma channels her passion into intergenerational practice. She co-founded the Australian Institute for Intergenerational Practice (AIIP), served as its interim CEO, actively participates in the Rotary Club of Coomera Valley, and hosts her podcast titled ‘Passionate, the Podcast,’ available for listening on Spotify.
